Lipp…they are horrible
I was more than surprised. I had no idea. Good luck this season, Tim.

Danny, how did you know about this clip? And how didn’t the rest of us? Apparently it’s not new.
Ha, it’s been around for a little while and one of my friends is obsessed with it. He still yells and boom goes the dynamite from time to time when he feels it is appropriate.

When they first came here in the mid 90’s I went to every game…then they became the show on turf bs and I couldn’t get tix to save my ass….suffice it to say, I could sit anywhere I want now.

show on turf
What a great run that was, though. I never had and have not since seen an offensive display like that. It’s like they were playing a different game.

mook, i absolutely despised that blurb you posted on the last page. why the hell did you have to do that? i thought we were friends…..yikes. i was nervous to start with. then i saw the lineup and starting shaking. then i saw that blurb and started crying. Go Mets ;-)
Wash U area bars?…so you are persona non grata on the loop, CWE and Dogtown.

shea, i thought about not posting it but then i thought of it as being like a no hitter - you have to mention it to get past it.
This is like a different team than the one that lost 4 straight there in may. that team sucked! :)

haha i remember getting thrown out of duffy’s (maybe 2x) and some place in clayton (j.c. muggs or something like that). I also remember watching most of the world series games at Toms on the CWE.

i lived right off the loop, but those days i couldn’t get into blue hill and there wasn’t anywhere else there to watch a game.
I’m interviewing for a teaching job at Wash U. in the Art Dept. You were law right?
Anywho, gotta go pick up the nugget from the babysitter…good luck tonight and play nice.

the rams shouldn’t have drafted chirs long #2
i guess i am the only interwebs nerd here having seen the boom goes the dynamite thing years ago :(
Tim, a serious question: Did the defense just, like, give up midway through the fourth quarter last week? Or were they just winded?

loller
ya, winded…..let’s go with that.
Lipp…they are horrible

i’m never going to stop
wayne summers and kansas of kansas
and chris paul rebounded out the list

St. Louis and NY are the only ciities in the last decade to have a SB champ and a WS champ…..It’s not gonna happen here again in a loooong time.
sports are cyclical. I just hate rebuilding decades is all.
Well, Geeks, I’m out. A good weekend to all, and let’s take 2 of 3. LGM.
Saying “last decade” is a little harsh. That essentially boils it down to 10 teams at most, not accounting for repeats.
i’m out
won’t be on this weekend…have a good one and LET’S GO METS
…and boom goes the dynamite
Later lipper and Zod
Have great weekends, fellows.
I could have said no thanks to the Mets

yeah know what…that blurb I said about the teams winning is wrong…Boston and and NE won…..I got that off an ESPN story somewhere
Yeah, but since we haven’t won a game at Turner yet this year, that means we are due, right shea? ;-)
heheh When did the Rams win the Super Bowl? I can’t even remember anymore. 2000?
Personally, I’d rather have not known that fact. :(
yeah 99/00 season…who’d you guys rather play, Cubs or Brewers. I’m ignoring the NL West.
I’m with Lunk. Ignorance is bliss!
Brewers, definitely. Extremely flawed team. Some good starters but a bad bullpen with a lineup that can be pitched to.
I’d rather play the Brewers if those were my choices. Their bullpen sucks as badly as ours.
haha, I’m so sorry guys! i figured you’d prefer to hear it from me first. i’m sure gary will be going on ALL NIGHT about it.
WE ARE SO DUE!
brewers are scrappy..
BELIEVE it!
Some of us watch through Gameday. ;) Anyway, I’m out. Later all. LGM!
Yup, it was my freshman year. Rams won the superbowl, then the mets knocked the cards out of the playoffs my sophomore year…it was fun times out there
i BELIEVE, danny :)
aww, i feel bad now, i ruined lunk’s night! :(
yeah half of that statement was fun mook….watching ankiel have a stoke on the mound was a blast..I blame Mike Matheny.
*stroke
hahaha yea tim. ah, mike matheny… i got kicked out of a LOT of bars that series :)
That what we said about the Braves beating the phils! But maybe we’re the team of destiny. Yes! That’s it. We’re the team of destiny!
