    Eh Niese outing was decent. Only 5 innings tho and 4 walks. The 8 k’s in nice tho.

    Suire is doing well.

    Jerry Marte on GCL hasnt played in awhile :(

    Carlos Muniz seems to have good performances in NO. Too bad it never translates up to the majors.

    i am impressed anytime wheb a starter can hold a team to 2 or fewer runs in abq. i followed along last night on gameday. niese had trouble putting a few guys away

    103 pitches in 5 innings for Niese is not very good. I wonder if that is usual for him or not.

    In any case, he had 134 IP last year and is at 161 IP this year. So it might be time to shut him down for the year. I don’t see how could be of much help this year.
