Reyes Wright Beltran Delgado moving up the alltime met ladder

DAVD WRIGHT

This season Wright moved into 5th on the alltime HR list (he passed Foster, Kranepool, Alfonzo, McReynolds, & Hundley this season). Wright passed Mookie to sit in 7th on the alltime double list, and he passed Kevin McReynolds and Hernandez for 7th in RBI, and tied Hernandez for 7th. Wright also tied John Stearns for 10th on the sac fly list.

Wright needs 2 doubles to pass Cleon Jones (182 2b@#6).

#5 on the HR list

#7 in RBI. Next up Cleon Jones, 521 (264 to pass Strawberry #1)

…1 SF to tie Hernandez and Carter, and 3 to tie McReynolds (7)

92 SB is #12.

Jose Reyes

Jose Reyes became the met alltime leader in triples and stolen bases this year, passing fan and personal favorite Mookie Wilson for both. He is 25 years old.

Reyes needs 12 R to pass Piazza (7), and 17 R to pass Kranepool (6).

Reyes needs 212 TB to pass Wilson (6); he passed Grote, McReynolds, and Hernandez earlier this year.

Reyes is 36 H behind Keith Hernandez (939H@#10)

Carlos Beltran

113 HR is #9. (5 more to tie Kranepool)

405 RBI just passed Staub for #9. Next McReynolds.

140 double is #13 . (Grote next at 143)

    Nice piece. Bill Simmons, God rest his brain, wrote a few years ago that Wright would own all the Met records in due time

    I believe that David Wright will break Piazza’s record of 124 RBI as a Met this season.
