I don’t know danny. I must have been half asleep when i got dressed this morning :( and I felt it was a bad omen to wear the skirt to the game but i couldn’t get home to change.
All this talk about being a traitor and i phucked up big time with the wardrobe selection ;)

I don’t know, mookie. That might have required bottoms ophph. You have to make sacriphices as a phan sometime. That might have been a time.
Your skirt willed the Phightin Phils to victory!!!

LOL! Ophph is a GREAT word. But danny, my seats are in LF, right near Marlon. Do you think he needed any more distractions out there? ;)
Hmm…Pat the Bat on the other hand…

I think a ritual burning is most certainly in order

That ninth inning was that worst case scenario you imagine as a mets fan, and the kind of thing you always think is going to happen, except you don’t really think it’s going to happen.
At least, that was my mindset going into that inning. In my mind’s eye I could see them blowing the game there, but I never really thought it was going to happen- until Duaner gave up those three hits.
I’m not going to read this over because I have a feeling it doesn’t make a lot of sense.

alright, burning will have to wait till tomorrow…mookie needs her beauty sleep - night danny…we’ll get ‘em tomorrow - BELIEVE!

sarah, i couldn’t agree more. that’s exactly how i felt heading into the inning. Until joe smith got that non-DP ball and my always optimistic dad called me and told me we would still win as long as feliciano didn’t come in…as i watched pedro trot out of the bullpen, lol. At that point, I felt we were not going to win the game, sadly.

for mets fans, “worst case scenario” = something that happens 90+ % of the time

Night Mookie. I still BELIEVE!
Sarah, I completely agree with what you saying. I understood it perfectly. We always play the worst case scenario out in our heads in the 9th inning. It just came to fruition tonight.

Oh come on. I know the bad stuff stands out, but that’s just silly.
That’s a really sad outlook to have as a fan.
