    They pinch-hit for Flores after 2 ABs…anyone know if there was a reason for that? He’s not hurt, is he?

    Tim, I read that he said he wasn’t feeling well. I don’t think it was an injury.

    Yeah, batting third for the Appy-League Mets, some 16 year-old kid who isn’t feeling well. Boom! I guess that home run trot in the first inning probably took it all out of him.

    Let’s hope he’s not out for too long. If for no other reason than I look forward to checking his box every morning. Jeez, the kid’s off to a good start.

    I think we’re closing in on the time when Carp deserves to get a shot at AAA ball… track him for a September cup of coffee next season if all goes well.
