    #### ST LOUIS #### CHRIS DUNCAN #### LARUSSA #### MOLINA #### THE “BEST FANS IN BASEBALL”

    AHEM

MOST UNDESERVING FANS IN ALL BASEBALL

Go pile in your ####ing minivans and take your hellspawn to soccer practice tomorrow after visiting “The WalMart” or “Publix” for “Crocs” and Hot Pockets, ####head ST Louis fans.

    Cardinal homers: 4

    Mets homers: 0

Getting outhomered 4-0 really sucks. What’s the HR hit/allowed tally? Seems like it’s one-sided.

Don’t let your dog attack you, Zod. The killer.

I’m going to do the same. Tough one tonight, Geeks.

    the cardinals are ####ing garbage

absolutely the worst loss of the season

You say that after EVERY loss, DL. However, it never gets old, so by all means, keep up the good work. You’re just a constant source of inspiration to us all with your brilliant analysis.

There’s a lot of baseball left, so please lets not jump off the ledge over this one. It’s a tough one, but it’s not the end of the season for pete’s sake.

    Actually it says f### all.

It’s certainly the worst loss of the month.

  16. Comment posted by Bob Loblaw on July 3, 2008 at 12:34 am (#749512)

There are a lot of setbacks in baseball. It’s the nature of the game. People who expect to win every game 83-0 are just fking morons.

  17. Comment posted by Bob Loblaw on July 3, 2008 at 12:35 am (#749513)

I know what kind of people I would want on my team if I was starting one. People who keep fighting and keep their eyes on the goal and don’t give up, not a bunch of fking whiners who can’t handle adversity.

  18. Comment posted by DL on July 3, 2008 at 12:36 am (#749514)

People who expect to win every game 83-0

i don’t expect that, so please stop acting like you have some kind of window into my thought process. if you really think most fans will just casually react to a game like this because there happen to be 79 games left in the season, well then LMAO

  19. Comment posted by DL on July 3, 2008 at 12:39 am (#749515)

actually there are 78 games left, whatever

  20. Comment posted by Bob Loblaw on July 3, 2008 at 12:39 am (#749516)

The only window I have into your thought process is what you write here. 99% of it is of the “we can’t possibly succeed” variety. The rest is pure gold, DL! Seriously though I’m still waiting for you to say one interesting, enlightening or amusing thing.

The mets have had 20 losses worse than this in the last 12 mos…they had 0 pitching tonite..Pedro sucks its time to make some deals

i didn’t say last 12 months, and somehow we overcame pedro’s “sucking” only to realize that chris duncan was someone we could not contain

  26. Comment posted by NY-NL on July 3, 2008 at 12:51 am (#749524)

no way will I buy that 1 run given up by both releivers are as bad as a rotten 5 run start from Martinez

  27. Comment posted by DL on July 3, 2008 at 12:57 am (#749527)

no #### pedro’s wasn’t good, but there’s a lot of blame to spread around–you’d think we could close out a game leading by 2 runs in the 8th, but then again this is the mets

  28. Comment posted by Future, now with a present J.D. on July 3, 2008 at 12:58 am (#749528)

Sigh. I came home to be told the Mets had won, and then came upstairs to see the boxscore.

My brother is lucky he is 12. If he was 18 I would have punched him in the face.
