    Guys, you have to laugh at it. You can’t get too worked up over this game. We will win it anways. And besides, it only brings Willie closer to the brink of destruction here with the Mets.

    I think if you put Bobby V’s in game with Willies pre and post game you have a pretty good manager. Bobby was pretty good with the pen

    I think if you put Bobby V’s in game with Willies pre and post game you have a pretty good manager.

    Yeah, Willie really has a clubhouse that responds to him. its not like he alienated Reyes or pissed all over his non-favorite, non-veteran players before.

    The Mets have made 115 pitching changes this season, second most in the major leagues behind the Braves, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

    …it’s a telling stat, because, in addition, they have also thrown the second fewest innings of any bullpen…which means, Willie Randolph is essentially going wild with the one-and-done scenario…use a guy, then use another guy, then use another guy…etc…

    Also according to Elias, the Mets have been outscored by 28 runs during the seventh and eighth innings, tying them with the Padres for the worst run differential in those innings in the majors

    i did not see the game, but the box score tells me aaron & johan were mirror images of each other today… serviceable, not superior performances for both.

    ps i wonder if there will be tailgating on a colossal scale in the shea parking lots between games…

    Willie just said that Johan wasn’t feeling that well today; he was having major allergy issues and wasn’t that strong. If so, he did well to fight through that way. He also said, if I heard him right, that Church was a bit under the weather.

    They were booing Aaron during his whole appearance Custer. We got on the crowd though. I must say I am not proud of my fellow Mets fans this year. Like school on a saturday: No Class!!!

    Santana now talking about his allergies. They bothered his eyes and nose, and he didn’t feel good at all today, but “no excuses”.

    Wonder if the allergies explain why he’s a notoriously slow starter (although if this is slow…)

    that doesnt guarantee you have the 10 “most win” seasons though, there could be a few that didnt make the cut due to winning % not being high enough for that wiki list
