    You know, I was thinking that I wouldn’t want to be the person at UN who has to determine the formula for how much money and to give out to disaster relief/ humanitarian aid for a respective catastrophe. How does someone weigh human life into a calculus like some sabermetrical formula? Its really depressing, but I guess it has to be done. Although I’m sure alot of this is also politically determined by a whole host of stupid, mundane and absurd shit too.

    At the same time, that person has to have some job satisfaction in the sense that they are responsible for getting aid to the most needy people in the world.
