Citi Field Fanwalk Bricks

With Citi Field’s opening scheduled for 2009, the New York Mets are giving fans a chance to immortalize their fandom by purchasing bricks in the walk surrounding the primary entry of the ballpark. The bricks will be engraved with a few short lines of text.

We figured we’d open up the forum to gauge any interest readers might have in helping sponsor a MetsGeek brick. There are three options for bricks:

* a 4″x8″ brick with three lines of text for $195

* an 8″x8″ brick with six lines of text for $340

* and an 8″x8″ brick with four lines of text and a Mets “NY” logo etched on it for $395

For now, we just want to know what you think. If you’d be interested in helping out, please post below. It could be a nice way for the website to demonstrate its support for the team and the new ballpark.
