I thought I saw that the Mets signed Maine for $330,000 and I thought...

3.3M isnt bad if healthy and we get a full season out of him.

3.3M is basically less than 1.0 WAR.....in 07 he was at 2.7 and in 08 he was at 1.4

Healthy, that's a great contract for Maine. Since he's essentially had a season off, let's hope for better results.

I get a package in the mail today with no return address. It's a photo of inauguaral day at Citi Field with both mets and padres lined up along the basepaths after intros.
There's a note inside that reads....
