Not sure where he thinks he's getting paid from this offseason
Dejan Kovacevic of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Adam LaRoche rejected a two-year, $17.5 million offer from the Pirates.
It's the most lucrative offer he has seen all offseason and it's doubtful he can do much better. LaRoche, 30, hit an impressive .325/.401/.557 with 12 home runs and a .957 OPS in 212 at-bats for the Braves last season (.277/.355/.488 overall) but he has to realize what kind of market he's swimming in. He's reportedly seeking a three-year contract.
