Hey head Geeks,
Is there any customization possible with the mobile interface? I'm finding it's a little confusing, particularly because each poster's entire information is shown with each post.
Ok y'allz with da mobilez.
try it out and give some feedback.
from our fearless leader/internet jedi/god:
I installed a 'Mobile' style, which can be selected using the style selector in the lower left of the page.
its in the pulldowns on the bottom.

I really like the BB interface. Very quick to move between pages of threads.
Thanks Eric and Alex!

HELP! Somehow the formatting of metsgeek got screwed up and I tried changing my settings to fix it. I switched to Mobile view as my style and there is no option to switch back to the normal style. I fixed the format problem by clearing my cache, but now every time I log in it puts me back into Mobile style. How do I change it back? I can't find any settings in the Mobile pages to change back. If I don't log on it looks normal but I can't make any changes or post - obviously.

I just tried logging out to test it. I changed to the mobile format and I couldn't get back either. Then when I logged in as myself, I still had the mobile version. And I still couldn't find a way to change it back. Poor way to stage a rescue. Effectively, I jumped right into the quicksand with you! ;-)
Finally, I went back to an earlier page stored in the history of my browser until I had the normal format and was able to log back in that way. So I have things back to normal. Not sure if that will work for you. Good luck!

Nah, it didn't work for me. Thanks for trying. The problem is I was logged in when I changed it, and I changed it in my settings page (not on the page I was viewing). So, there has to be a cookie or a file on the geek server that is storing the settings for it. I found 3 metsgeek cookies that I renamed and moved to a different folder, but that didn't work either. :(
