Mets win game 1 over the phils 2-1 in dramatic fashion. R.A.D. had a perfecto thru 5 and a no-no into the 7th.....and wound up w/ a ND.

The Scooooch had a PH HR,..... DW clutched up in the bottom 8th had an RBI double,and Acosta relieved Parnell and made it too interesting after 2 were out he put 2 on, but got Ruiz to pop out to end it......

Game 2 should be fun...... Gee vs. Blanton.
I won't be around as I'll be going to a friend's 50th B-day bash around that time....

Cards beat the Cubs 2-1, scoring 2 in the bottom 9th, the winner via a WP.......lol..... and The Nats wang dang doodled the Braves 4-1.....St. Louis trailing Atlanta in the WC by only 2 games now..... with just 4 to go....S.F 4.5 GB, play later in AZ.

Mets got a nice sweep yesterday against the phils........so I'm not gonna waste a new thread today on the disaster that is mike pelfrey and his finger licking idiocy.......I wish sandy just dumps his ass before spring training. That bum only lasted 3 innings today and gave up 5 runs, all earned.
Carrasco is worthless too, and another roster spot waste of space......yikes!! 9-0 in the 6th. smh.

But I digress...........Lets Go Jets !!!

Jets got bitch-slapped by duh rayduhs...kind of surprising actually, though I guess with Buffalo beating Pats and the Gmen prevailing over the Eagles, parity has returned to the NFL...at least for one week

In the aftermath of that disaster, I'm not sure who I'm disgusted with more.......Antonio Cromartie or Brian Schottenheimer.....too close to call right now.
